Meet Our Staff:

Carolyn Standen, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) 
Dr. Carolyn Standen is a 1982 graduate of the Ohio State University School of Veterinary School of Medicine.  She is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, the California Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Feline Practitioners, and is a bit of a "Crazy Cat Lady" herself.  She shares her love of critters with her roommate Kelli and her daughter Heather.

Cathy, Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) 
Cathy lives in El Dorado County with her family, German Shorthair Josie and orange tabby Milton Bradley III who was adopted from the El Dorado County Animal Shelter.  She has been an RVT for more than 20 years, having worked with Dr. Standen for three years in the '90's and is excited to be working with her again.

Sarah, Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Sarah is an animal lover of all varities!  She owns horses, cats, dogs, a guinea pig, a hamster, a chicken. She also has a husband and son.

Emily, Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) 
Emily is a recent graduate and earned her RVT in 2010.  She is from Folsom and lives with her Labrador rescue dog Benny and her two cats, Ashes and Cali.

Becky, Veterinary Assistant (VA) 
Becky is currently out on leave.  She lives in El Dorado Hills with her family, dog Duff and three of the funniest cats in the world: Booker, Frito and Dory.  She loves all animals, for sure if they have four or fewer legs and is honored to be working with such a great veterinarian!

Angie, Office Assistant (OA) 
Angie lives in Folsom with her boyfriend Keith, his dog Maggie, her two cats Sugar and Little Kitty.  She is happy to be working with such a wonderful staff of women. 

Kelli, Volunteer (V)
Kelli lives with her own little "zoo" at home.  She loves animals of any type, just ask her!  She is the "jack of all trades" and assists with many of the behind the scenes needs at the clinic.
