Appointments

We require appointments for all doctor examinations. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment time, we would be happy to assist you. We understand that your time is precious and we make every effort to see you in a timely manner.

Payment

Payment is expected at the time of service. Hospitalized patients and first-time boarders require a deposit at the time of admittance. We accept the following forms of payment:

*Please note that if using Care Credit for the first time, you may apply online prior to your appointment.

Hospitalization & Emergency

The Cat Clinic of Folsom is not a 24-hour facility and does not have personnel on the premises after hours. Patients that require intensive overnight care may be referred to a 24-hour care facility. Please call us at 916-988-7111 for information on after-hour and emergency hospitals in the area or see the full list under CONTACT.

Prescription Refills

We ask that you call 24 hours in advance for any refills. Every prescription requires an overview of your pet's recent medical history and a doctor's authorization. This also helps to reduce the amount of wait time for your refill. Local and out-of-state compounding pharmacies are more pharmacy resources available to you. A current exam is required for any prescription refill, including prescription diets.

Privacy

We do not share private owner information with any third party. Please note that we are required by law to report Rabies vaccinatons to the City of Folsom, and any controlled substances dispensed by this clinic to the DEA (US Drug Enforcement Agency). We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
